The second day has been confirmed.
30th of Jan we are looking to do more drafts. At the moment the schedule is quite chaotic, some people can come, but only late others cant seem to come, but may be able to come, but dont know know, but who knows.
Im setting it in stone anyway. I have a much larger selection of boosters to draft from now, with a set of UNHINGED in the mail. May be here by 30th, but I kind of doubt it. Im still trying to get as many players as possible in the loop, so pass this across to anyone else if you are interested. |

Well, I'd say only half the people ended up staying in the end. But, the little draft tourni we had was awesome. So awesome infact that I am going to keep doing this.
Im going to try and aim for the 30th again, before school kicks in 100% and all that. Then it might just be every 2-4 weeks. Or whenever anyone can be stuffed. I'm going to dig deeper into getting more booster boxes so we have a larger variety. |

Small social MTG tournament at my place.
It will be held on the the 16/01/2010.
The format is Low Lander with the ban list at the bottom. There can only ever be one of any card in your deck, excluding basic land.
One deck allowed only.
No side boards allowed.
Mana burn will be used.
English cards only.
Best of three rounds per game. 2 points per win, 1 point per draw. Leaders who draw will have additional games. Or they can fight to the death in mortal combat.
Entry fee is $5, which will be redistributed back to the winners. First place will recieve a larger percentage of the total I recieve from entry fees. Second place a smaller percentage, and third an even smaller percentage. 1st place will get the spare Avatar of Might I have. 2nd to 4th can pick out an uncommon card from my spares box, which they can keep or use to start fires. All players can choose 4 commons out of my spares box, which they can keep or use to start fires.
Please get back to me so I can keep a list of who is showing up. A small walk around the corner provides good pizza and fish and chips. So bring your own damn food. I will provide drinks. Probably cordial. But good stuff, I only drink good cordial. Trust me, it's good.
We hope to start around 10-11am and stay until you can't be stuffed hanging around anymore. There's like, 3 tvs and 3 computers and stuff in case you get bored of MTG. If there is a good turnout and you want to do it again I will organise better prizes or maybe a draft tournament. If there is little turnout, I'll waver the $5.
I really hate cheaters, so those caught cheating will be taken out the back and covered in hot bacon grease and then have the dogs let loose on them. Failing to not have any bacon grease, I will just punch you a lot. And eat your deck.

I have started cataloguing all my MTG cards. I did this once maybe 6-7 years ago, but my collection has since exploded. It is a large task.
But the reason I've started doing it again is because I'm planing on running a mini tournament at my place. My collection is so unsorted that I needed to help sort it all out so I can see what I have to make a deck with and what I can pass on as spares. Once I organise my cards and see what I have spare Ill see when what date I can get. Im hoping in the next month. If it's a success, I'll bring in better prizes and such. |

For the first time ever I bought presents for my family. Cheap ones. There was a special on one of the online shops with my rewards things so I thought, why not.
So does this make me a pansy, a man who turns on his own word and image? I don't know. Do I have an image? I often wonder what my image is. I have an array of possible perceptions to play. Like, public personality, private personality, introductory personality, professional personality and so on. Each one, every time, is the same. So let me justify myself, as this is a facet of every personality I have.
Have I ever bought presents for anyone in my family before without being coerced into it or jointly with other people. I don't know. I cant remember that far back. So really, I take the value of my purchases, then divide them by 20 years, I think its a fair deal.
But on the personality note, I am finding that I'm just turning into a box. I really need to fix my energy and breathing issues, before my personality just ends up being just Forward, Truthful, Pessimistic and Demanding, instead of the billions of other flavour words that accompany a personality. |
